Phill heads up the design aspects of our projects at Le Pelley, working closely alongside Pascal and our team to work out exactly how to build and create an architect’s concept and bring their vision to life. His role involves dealing with our suppliers and manufacturers, choosing the very best products for our clients. He is involved in carrying out meticulous project planning and carrying out feasibility assessments, so we get things just right.
Phill started his career as a mechanical engineer and went on to work for a large stone company, where he gained experience and expertise from working on significant construction projects in London. After 2 decades he started his own business, which he ran for 18 years, before joining the Garenne Natural Stone Group working there for 5 years before joining our team at Le Pelley in 2023.
Some of the standout moments in Phill’s career have been working on two projects that were nominated for the prestigious Stirling Awards. He was part of the team that designed the Nazrin Shah Building at Worcester College and the Bishop Edward King Chapel at Ripon College just outside Oxford.
Outside of his time at work, Phill enjoys walking his dog, supporting Torquay United, reading, and going to live music concerts.
