Ian is our dedicated in-house accountant, bringing a wealth of experience from his career in a wide range of sectors including insurance, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing. Born and raised in Salisbury, Ian initially trained as a Personnel & Administrative Technician in the Royal Air Force, where he developed his passion for fitness and leadership as a Physical Training Instructor. He was a member of an active flying squadron, so he enjoyed overseas short detachments in Gibraltar and Norway.
Following his service in the RAF, Ian qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant, completing his AAT and ACCA over seven years of part-time study. Since then, he has held senior financial roles, including Head of Finance at a prominent UK insurance company, before relocating to Jersey in 2023 to settle here permanently.
Outside of work, Ian is a committed runner, clocking over 40 miles weekly and competing in local 10K and half-marathon events as a member of the Jersey Spartans. He has a lifelong passion for classic cars, enjoys walking and exploring new places. A keen supporter of Salisbury FC, Ian will always prioritise finding time to catch a game when he visits the UK.
