Terrazzo Transformation: 40 Years in the Making
We recently had the privilege of restoring this time-worn terrazzo staircase - over four decades old – back to its original glory.
This project was a true labour of love, combining specialist knowledge, patience, and precision across every step and landing. Here`s what went into it:
- Deep Clean - Decades of ingrained dirt and grime were carefully lifted to reveal the natural beauty of the original terrazzo surface.
- Skilled Repair Work – Over 100 cracks, chips, and damaged edges were meticulously repaired by hand, ensuring a seamless finish that honours the original design.
- Long-Term Protection – The entire staircase was finished with a dedicated terrazzo protector, locking in the shine and guarding against future wear and tear.
The end result? A beautifully revitalised staircase that doesn’t just look good – it’s built to last.
